Established Litton Hill, a large brick house, and estate in the Elk Garden 1826.

Family raised cattle, race horses, tobacco, cotton.

Location of Litton Hill Cemetery: Box 445 Rt. 1, Elk Garden.

Donated land for what is now the Elk Garden United Methodist Church.

1780 Taken prisoner of war with parents and siblings from Paris, KY to Detroit and Montreal.
