History of Methodist Episcopal Church of Aurora, IN: "On site of Aurora, William Lambden preached the first sermon and organized the first class." This "first class" of 1816 consisted of 9 people, including Joseph Norris & wife, Richard Norris, but no wife listed! Aaltje should have still been alive...

Trestor Cemetery located behind house owned by Ed Wells in year 2000. Cemetery is supposedly on border between two townships, and neither twp keeps it up.

Left land to his surviving wife and each surviving child.
