Notes for Solomon Caleb LITTON, JR.
Born Detroit, in captivity while parents were prisoners of war.
Lived for a time in Whitely Co., KY, where most of his children were born, but returned to the "home place" in Litton Hollow/the Corner, Russell Co., VA.
1843 Inherited the home built by his father in 1789. Had 1000 acres there. House still standing when described by WPA during the Great Depression, but now has been either replaced or over-built by a more recent house.
